The WFD primarily operates Ladder 79 on all first-due and mutual aid incidents. Engine and Rescue companies are primarily operated by mutual aid companies.

Ladder 79 is a 2020 Pierce Enforcer 107-foot Ascendant Quint, which is capable of functioning as an Aerial or an Engine. Ladder 79 is equipped with a 500-gallon water tank, 1,500 gallon per minute pump, ground ladders equaling 129 feet, 500 feet of 5-inch supply hose, 300 feet of 3-inch hose, (two) 200 foot 2-inch pre-connected hand lines, 150 feet of 1.75 inch bumper line, medical equipment and an assortment of fire, rescue, and technical rescue equipment.

Engine 79 is a 2024 Pierce Enforcer Pumper. The Engine is equipped with a 1500 GPM Waterous Pump, a 750-gallon water tank, seating for six personnel, and is equipped to handle a wide variety of incidents such as motor vehicle accidents, vehicle and brush fires, and Quick Response EMS incidents.

Engine 79-1 is a 2009 KME Predator. This apparatus is equipped with a 1500 GPM Hale Pump, 500-gallon water tank, 30-gallon Class A foam tank, 1,200 feet of 5-inch supply hose, 3 pre-connected 1.75 inch handlines, and seating for six personnel.

Utility 79 is a 2024 Ford F250 Super Duty XL. The vehicle is used for transporting personnel and equipment to training, events, and emergency incidents. It is equipped with two SCBAs, EMS equipment, various hand and power tools, and seating for up to four firefighters.
