The Wyomissing Fire Department operates on a 24/48 shift schedule, providing 24/7/365 emergency response coverage and a consistent level of service to the community. Each shift is staffed by a dedicated career crew consisting of a Captain, a Fire Technician, and two Firefighters. The department is led by a Chief who oversees operations, administration, and long-term planning. Supporting the career staff is a strong group of volunteer firefighters who play a vital role in staffing apparatus, responding to incidents, and supporting department functions.
